Nigel Whitmey (born February 23, 1963 in Peace River, Alberta, Canada) is a British-Canadian actor. His family emigrated to Canada from Liverpool, England. In the mid-1980s, Whitmey himself came to London to study drama at RADA, where he met his to-be-wife Abigail Thaw. They have three children together. Most of Whitmey's acting work has been done in Britain.
