Tales of Zestiria the X is a 2016 anime based on the Tales of Zestiria video game. It premiered on July 3, 2016 in Japan and concluded on September 25, 2016. FUNimation Entertainment acquired the license to the series and produced a broadcast dub, which premiered on July 2, 2016 through a screening at Anime Expo. A second season began airing in Japan on January 8, 2017 and concluded on April 29, 2017. FUNimation Entertainment began streaming the second season's English dub on January 22, 2017.
